upgrade 6.30 to 6.31 file list empty

I just upgraded from 6.30 to 6.31 and now my file list is empty. Is it supposed to be cleared upon upgrade? Or each time the Newsbin starts?

I do have "Save Files List on Exit" checked in settings -> Advanced section.

Is there anyway to recover the files list? I was using it to keep track of what I've viewed (several thousand were still in the list). Deleting the item after I've viewed it.

XP 32-bit if that matters.
I've looked in the newsbin data folder. I see:
Downloaded.db3 1.3mb
DownloadedFiles.txt 2.6mb
DownloadMarker.db3 23mb
Downloads.db3 5.7mb
Downloads.db3-shm 32kb
Downloads.db3-wal 971kb

It should have still showed up on upgrade. It's stored in "Downloaded.db3".
