RC7 now gets nfo and sfv if I double click the subject

Postby MichaelW_ » Fri Apr 13, 2012 4:58 am

This seems to be a new "feature" and I don't want it lol. It seems to have started with RC7 and even though I implicitly don't choose the nfo and sfv files, they are downloaded anyway. Is there any way to turn this off?

I suspect they're in the PAR files so, Newsbin repairs them into existence. Let me verify that the "post unrar filter" can kill them.

Can you add an option so that if the contents are just video file(s) such as AVI, MKV etc that if the rar set is complete with the exception of the nfo, sfv & srr files that it will just unrar and not force the par repair?

It was in there before but, it breaks certain file downloads. Repairing these small files is typically very quick too. I'm thinking filtering the files out and deleting them is the direction I'm going.

Ok, no problem. Did you ever decide if you were going to include code to limit and/or automatically shorten the folder names when doing a download to folder named for subject, that is the issue I am having the most problems with.
