V6 crashing

Postby hankinsrl » Thu Mar 22, 2012 10:50 am

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this same problem:
over the past few days my NB has been constantly crashing. In the short amount of time it is running, I get a steady stream of D/L errors. Should I go back to an earlier version? It ran fine for about 2 weeks before the crashing started although for me V6 has been giving me an unusual amount of errors from the get-go. There seems to be more tweaking neccessary than in older versions. Or should I just reinstall?

What version are you using? There are numerous V6 versions out there.

What are you doing when it crashes? Does it actually crash or is it just not downloading?

Had a report of something like this the other day, I think the user ran "Windows Update" and let it update his system then the problem went away.

I'm running build 1832. BUT..I just read about the paused par dilemma and the workaround in build 1844, so I just may be able to knock out 2 birds with 1 stone 8)

And yes, its doing the full-on crash, kaput.
