Autopar repairs but then continually retries?

I have only had this problem with the latest betas, files download ok, repairs ok but then goes into retry cycle instead of extracting after repair. Any ideas?

Do you have it set to unrar? If not, then it'll just keep checking the downloads from time to time till you clear it out of the list.

Thanks for the reply quade. Some sets auto unrar but most don't, they either completely download or are repaired and just sit in the queue. The par files are always added to the queue as well, when they used to only be added if the post was incomplete, these seems to be whats causing it to not unrar, because nb is including the pars in the list to download when all rars have been processed but the pars are paused by default. This making any sense?

MOTD only pops up now when there's a change. We're pretty close to releasing 6.3.

I think your problem might have been a corrupt autopar2.db3 but, RC1 doesn't use that file any more (for the most part).

Still getting the same error with some posts, downloading all rar's just fine but wont process them.

Hit the plus button and look at the files. See if some of them still say "Downloading" or have black or red bars in them indicating they're not done yet.

I have yet top find a case where the files downloaded properly and didn't unrar. What I have seen, saw last night in fact, is that stalled connections or server errors will delay assembly.

yeah I've checked all the obvious things. All the rars are completely downloaded, the first par too. Its the rest of the pars just sit on paused.

What's does "Properties" show? Is it encrypted?

Ill have to wait for another set to do this and check properties as I've already unrar'd manually, sorry

Just downloaded another set and its done the same, when you say encrypted I take it you mean password protected? If so, then no it isn't, I've changed the nb settings to fail paswword protected sets anyway.

Should the par files be in the same download list as the rars? I'm saying this because it seems as though nb isn't processing the files because it hasn't downloaded the par set?
