Custom Lists, Wish List, Delete Folder, New Category

Postby ppan » Fri Feb 03, 2012 2:20 am

1. What is the advantage (if any) of the wishlist vs the custom list?
1b. Can I add a post (header) from the wish list to a custom list?
2. When I try to delete a folder (e.g. w. no groups), the only choice is to delete a "group" (e.g. right click the folder). Does that actually mean to delete the folder (with groups, if any exists)?
3. Is "Category" the same as Folder? When I right click and select send to Folder, I have the option to create a new Category. However, that creates a new Folder.

1. It's less about advantage, more about options. Wish list is simply a location to quickly store things you might want later. For those who don't use autopar, it also can behave the way the par list in v5 used to behave by default. A place to stuff pars. If you find you want to store lots of posts, to the point where having it all in one list is too cluttered, you can effectively make your own custom wishlists.

1b. That, I don't know. If you can't right click on it and see move to wishlist, and drag and drop doesn't do anything, then probably not. I'd try that first, though.

2. Yes

3. Yes.
