Speed Limiter Issues

Newsbin Pro 64bit Version 6.0 Build 1019

I'm having two separate issues with the Newsbin speed limiter, which always worked perfectly in previous versions for me.

1. Speed Limiter not working in regards to selectable slider. No matter what I set the limiter to, it will NOT limit downloads to that speed. Not even close.

2. When speed limiter is engaged I'm seeing massive overall Internet latency. My connection is 10 megabit but somehow speed limiter throttling my download to only 3 megabits is causing high latency on my connection.

Would love some insight into these issues. Never had this problem in previous builds of Newsbin.

You should probably try it with the latest version. 6.21 or 6.30B2 and then get back to me.

I considered that after I posted so grabbed V6.21 64bit. Issues still persist. Going from 10 to 5 server connections has helped somewhat with the latency issue, however speed limiter is still behaving erratically and inaccurately.

Having the same issue with 6.21 build 1534. It was working perfectly in the last 5.x versions.

The registry setting "ReceiveBuffer" seems to have fixed it for me.

* EDIT - One reboot later and the speed limiter is back to the old tricks. It limits me all the way down to 760 MB from the 2.6MB setting.
