Speed limiting question

Postby DWHCo » Wed Jan 04, 2012 10:53 pm

Is there a way (or is it planned, or am I wanting something no one else wants) to have
the speed limiter limit any one of the servers (currently 2) I have setup in newsbin?

No. No plans. Why would you need such a thing?

2 servers, one with "unlimited" download, and 1 with limited.
2 servers, one with speed capped, and one without.

Still not seeing it. Are you thinking you'd slow down the limited server or something?

You could make the limited server a "fill" server so, it only downloads if other chunks of the file start failing.

That's what I'm doing...

Just thought I'd ask (yes, slow down the limited server). Can't hurt to ask, eh?

Have you tried making it a "Fill" server?

Yes, still gets it too fast from there... or not at all...
It's okay, if we can't do it, we can't do it :(
