Version 6.30 Beta 1 Available...

We have started work on Version 6.30. The initial reason for the new version was to fix issues memory issues for people on 32 bit machines. Quade also added the ability to easily bypass the spam filters on a file by file basis. Here's a short summary:

• Added a new column in Groups tab called "New Records" lists number of new posts since the last load.
• Now has better progress reporting in Download tab to indicate error conditions
• Fixes to resolve memory problems on 32 bit systems
• Can now use Ctrl-Y to bypass spam filters (Add to Download List - Bypass Filters)

also select no, nothing gets deleted, yes deletes

I think too many people had accidents with deleting partial downloads, so that is no longer one. I guess that means the dialog and yes/no prompt now do exactly what they say they are going to o

That makes sense. I almost invariably kept the partials.

If there's something to delete, it prompts for partial deletion. If you delete something that hasn't even started downloading, or a header download, it won't prompt for partial deletion.

Remote control now shows my vmware network adaptor ip instead of the actual lan ethernet adapter. (previously stable version got the correct adapter even though it was in ipv6)

Downloaded latest headers, was surprised at how few there were. Reinstalled 6.21 (1534) and redownloaded latest headers. Got the approximate normal numbers for each group. This was done within 30 minutes of each other. Anyone else seeing this?

I'm not seeing it. I'll look deeper this morning. I've been running 6.3 exclusively for the past couple weeks.

Just downloaded latest headers and here everything seems ok with 6.30.

Got one little question: the lines in the search field are gone, that's intended right?
I mean nothing wrong with my installation?

Edit: i mean the window of the search field.

I installed 6.30 on my notebook and on the notebook (32bit) it shows the stripes but on the desktop (64bit) only the grey background (or white background, not sure cause i don't have
the desktop here now)
Do i have to reinstal or is something messed up in my .nbi?

I installed the 64bit 6.30 beta again but still the same blue/grey background without the white stripes in the search results field.
I instaled 6.21 again and i do get the white stripes.

It's an optional display state. Meaning it's just cosmetic. I'll figure out why 6.3 isn't defaulting to grid lines.

Looks like the MP3 Folder Mode is broken. Sub-directories don't seem to be created, even though the switch is on.
