unraring

i am having a problem with file unraring in the wrong folder my folder structure is E/:cars (cars being what i downloaded ) when it unrars some times it unrars to the E drive dose any one known the cause of this. i am on ver.6.21 build 1534. thanks

I can't actually understand what you're asking. I know you're saying it's not always unraring where you expect but, I don't understand the specifics. What's the chance that the ones that don't unrar properly don't have PAR files?

Do you have Newsbin set to unrar to some alternate path or are you unraring to the download folder?

it is set on the default to unrar in the down load folder i have newsbin set to down load into a folder and to name it what ever it maybe. it always downloads to the right folder it just unrars to the root drive but not all the time i have my destination set as E/:/(whatever i down load) to on folder when unrars most time it unrars to E/: and not to (what ever i DL).i hope this helps is there away to post screen shots here is a link to a screen shot (Image link not allowed for unregistered users)

I might set the download path to "E:\DL\" then try some more downloads and see if it works properly within that path. I've not tested downloading to the root of a drive like this. If that seems to solve the problem, I can see is something is going wrong when using such a short path.

ok i will try this but i have all ways used that way for older versions.
