Odd File Sizes - KB should be MB

Postby IdontexistM8 » Wed Dec 07, 2011 10:02 pm

I have a Lossless group set up and I'm currently going through a large amount of headers. What's curious is I'm seeing a lot of incorrect file sizes both in the group list and download tabs but not in the completed file list. We're talking showing in KB not MB and it seems to affect only some files/batches. The files seem fine once downloaded, so is it a bug or something else?

Headers or NZB? I've seen this before and the problem was the server's XOVER data mis-reporting the number of lines in the files.

You might want to report it to them. Which group is it? I'll check it out.

As I've been working from a large folder I created it's hard to tell if it's just in one group but it's certainly occuring in alt.binaries.sounds.lossless. I will certainly let you know if I see it elsewhere.

Not 100% sure where I pulled those headers from as I've been altering my setup to include an unlimited server and I'm now pulling headers from multiple servers as and when required. However it's most likely to be Astraweb as they are ever present as a Master server.
