Version 6 Question/Complaint

I have been using Newsbin for years and have generally been very happy with it. After so many years I have collected a long list of newsgroups, and have always been able to manually sort them to my liking. When I installed version 6 I found all the groups were now sorted alphabetically, apparently by default. I have looked at all the options and FAQ's but I can't find anything on how to retain my original group sort order. This was irritating enough that I went back to V. 5.59 and so far intend to stay with it.

So is the automatic sorting of groups alphabetically a default feature, and if I can override it how do I go about it?

It's the default now but, getting it back under manual control is high on my todo list. I expect it to be in 6.2.
