Can i set up slave server for hedars only

Hello i was gonna set up a non-secure server in my serverlist for downloading headers only, but all i could find was i could set up server for "not download headers"

is this option not possible or do i have to do this some other way

Setting up a server as a Slave means specifically do NOT download headers - it needs to be set as a Master to download headers.

What might work for you is to set the server up as a Fill server so it is not used by default for files. If you also set the typical retention to something like 1 day I would have thought the chance of it ever getting used in reality as a fill server would be close to zero.

Of course whether these are sensible setting depends on whether I made the correct assumptions about what you are trying to achieve.

its becuse one groups have 119 million headers to download but only on 1 connections
what i would like to do is that i have 2 connections to download from that group
so 1 connection is getting 50million and the other connection gets the rest million. hopeing for a faster header update

You could do that. You could make a temporary server and set it to download say, 500 days (with the "Download Age" control) and the original server you could "Download All" and then stop it's header download when it gets 1/2 way there. All the headers for the same group feed the same DB. That's why this could work.
