Clear search from drop down box

I am doing a search inside a downloaded group.Not the internet search or local. I am trying to clear the search field from the drop down box, they are building up. It seems to hold them in memory which is a good thing but the list is getting big. I tried right clicking but nothing there, I get cut copy paste. No clear or delete.

This list is self purging. I think it'll hold 40 items and then throw away the oldest one after that. You can completely clear the list from the utilities menu.

I'll have to look into hooking up a right click to delete individual items.
