Error massages while downloading full headers

Hi There,

I'm a bit of a newbie here, but i can't find any solution for the error messages i get while downloading all headers. It stops the downloads 1 by 1.
I use supernews as a payserver with 30 lines. I use SSL also, it's by default.

Does anyone have a solution? I want to take 24 binaries at one time. That shouldn't be a problem, or is it? Thanks anyway!

I am not sure that Supernews supports X-Features (compressed header downloads) properly. You can try turning off the use of X-Features in the Newsbin Server Properties to see if that helps.

This sounds more like a firewall blocking Newsbin than XFeatures this time. Does it work if you don't use SSL?

If that is not the culprit, then it looks like something at your end (probaby your firewall) is blocking Newsbin's access to the internet.

What address do you have set? What port?

This error means you got a connection and then the server closed the connection.

I've been trying with port forwarding the ssl port and default tcp port. I was using port 119 and 593 (ssl).
Now i'm trying port 80. Maybe that's better.

What also is strange is that the binaries.ftn group the first group is that fails in 5 minutes of downloading. The rest come's much later, like ours.

i've disabled xfeatures and now after 7 ours i get this errors

Sounds like you just need to "download latest" and let it download the rest? You don't have to download them all at once. Newsbin will download from where it left off as long as you don't "Download all Headers" again.
