Multiple download connection problem

I did a fresh install for v.6., been using v.4 previously for many years.
In v.4, I can have 8 connections to Astraweb downloading simultaneously.
In v.6, set the Max Connections to server at 8 (also tried diff. number) in the Server setting.
I would get 8 down arrows, but it only download 1 file at a time per Status column and Current Progress column.
Please help.

6 doesn't work like 4. It's more efficient. all the connections work on the top file and don't move to the next file till the top one is nearly done. it's a faster way to download.

Each little colored block on the downloaded file is one connection.
