Newsbin stopps loading

I have notice that sometimes for some obscure reason Newsbi stops loading, there are 120000 files left and yet it does nothing....
It leaves a bunch of files with full blue bar but then nothing else, it takes it 5-10 sometimes 20 minutes if i let it be before it starts again and
then it can download maybe for 5 minutes before it stops again.

I have tried same newsgroup to downloading with Mimo and it does not stop...but its slower than Newsbin and a lot more memory hogging....

So I marked all the filed that had a blue bar on them...and moved to the bottom, then it starts downloading again...until first 20-30 are filled again...light blue bar...

What version are you using? DO you have it set to automatically unrar and repair?

err my bad its purple bar, not blue, got a little problem with colors....and im running latest version 6

it is set as default, I have not touched either of those options, I know where the unrar checker it but thats it...do not know where the repair checker is at

Yeah, that's a pretty ancient version if you wrote it down correctly. I'd suggest 6.01B5.

after trying that for 10-15 minutes I notice that the files are stacking with purple bar again but its not stopping yet...it has not filled as many purple bars as before though...

Do you have autopar on? If so it sounds as if you are downloading faster than the files can be checked/repaired/decoded.

Yes autopar is on...its on at default...right?

I notice thats its just some files its doing that too, it goes through other in a blink...but gets stuck on some...perculiar, well at least its not stopping...

Do you see any green and yellow bars?

Greens are flashing by as they are complete...no yellows....or at least I do not see it...

Green is decoding so that is expected. Yellow means a repair is happening, so the absence of them is not a bad thing.

and today I tried to download a "folder" and again...purple bars filled the first 50 files and then no more download of any work in repairing etc...its just not doing anything...

Not really enough information to guess. How many pars are paused in this set of files?

I checked and its no pars at all its normal files. its jpg file thats for some reason stuck on purple bar. I move the purple bars to the bottom and it continues loading. Thats all I know...

PM me the subject of some of these files. I'll try them here. Don't post the names here.

You can cut and paste the names from the download list. Select Ctrl-C/ then Ctrl-V in the message.

If there are a whole bunch of these that stack up then I know why the download stalls. The question is why they don't leave the download list.
