what happened to scrap/scratch list

Postby jayelbee » Thu Jul 28, 2011 2:37 pm

Using Version 5 when selected a post to download found via the search feature the par files were placed in a separate list. I forget the name Scratch/Scrap. I do not use AutoPar feature as have an application that does that. What is does is identify files from PAR2 sets and moves them and the PAR2 files to a separate folder and automatically handles. So now when I use Version 6 to download it downloads all the data files and all the PAR2 files.

Is there an option to recover this feature? I found this separate list valuable for a number of uses.

It's called the "Wish List" now.

There is no option currently but, I'm considering if for the next beta. Essentially if Autopar is disabled, automatically "wish list" the pars.

Thank you for considering it. It worked really well in V5. But aside from that so far I like V6.

I liked the old Par list as well.

Also, eventhough I have Autopar disabled, ALL par2 files are downloaded normally, everything just goes to the regular download list ????

_because_, not eventhough. A new option to wishlist the pars is in the works.
I'd recommend turning AutoPAR ON and Automatic UnRAR OFF to get what I suspect you really want, for now. (I could not use automatic unrar, before, due to unreliable SMB connections, but since I started running Newsbin in VirtualBox and writing directly to ZFS over loopback it works great:-))
