(usenet/newsbin noob) Is this the correct?

Postby alfa60 » Tue Jul 26, 2011 3:56 pm

A couple of days ago, I decided to download all headers from the alt.binaries.nl group, to make some local searches. 18 hours later, newsbin finished downloading a billion and a hundred headers (if I understand correctly the value in the size column). I then made some searches, and turned the computer off.
Today, all those headers seem to have vanished. Where did they go? Do I need to download everything again?

What's your "Storage Age" set to?

What happens if you right click the group and "Show all Posts"?

Do you see a progress bar grow from left to right when you load?
