Bypass Filters - is it working?

Add to Download List - Bypass Filters

In 6.01 beta 1 still as in 6.0 added to download with bypassing filters files are marked with v, not with ! as, I think, used to be in v5.
I did not investigate are the filters actually bypassed or not, but the mark suggests that they are not.
Unless in 6.0 ! is no longer used and v is for everything, which would not be welcome.

When I ctrl-y files to the download list, the ones downloading show "Downloading" arrow and the ones not downloading yet show a Star icon.

when downloading - down arrow, but when not yet downloading a "v" - not sure if it is Star icon or what.
However, in v5. "v" was only with filters, when bypassing filters, we had "!" instead of "v"

So now, the same icon is with filters and when bypassing filters, therefore the question - is it only the icon the same, or filters are not bypassed as they should be?

Hard to follow what you're saying , but if you add something to the queue with ctl-y, yes it bypasses filters, regardless of icons. Otherwise, it respects your global filter, and of course your duplicate setting.

In version 5 a different icon was used when bypassing filters, giving feedback to the user.
Using the same icon for both modes leaves me with doubts.

Pause, Add, look at the star icons so, you know Ctrl-Y worked, then unpause.

Are you saying that this "star icon" is different from "v" ("check") icon?

So far I get only "Check" icon, never "Star icon".

What exactly are you asking for? It seemed like you basically didn't take anyone's word for whether or not bypass filter works. Quade just showed how you can check. It *does* work, I use it all the time, a lot of people do. Are you asking for a feature? Have you found an instance when you tried to bypass and it didn't?

Doesn't sound like you're looking in the download list. That's where the stars are.

You are right, I was not looking in the download list.
In V5, there were different icons in the header list or how it is called: "v" - with filters, "!" - without filters.
Now always "v".

But now I see that in the download list, indeed, with filters I also have "v" but when bypassing filters - just an empty box, no "v".
So, thanks, everything is ok now.
