Crash messages but only sometimes exits

Postby MichaelW_ » Fri Jul 08, 2011 8:10 pm

I am getting tons of FileIO - Internal Crash when trying to download some par sets - sometimes the program exits and sometime it doesn't. Any ideas?

Try unchecking "Fail encrypted files" checkbox and see if anything changes. I ran into something the other day where broken rars would cause something like this.

The same error occurs also when I try to create nzb from download list. When I see this " internal crash / file I/O error " error message in the logging tab, the only solution is restart newsbin, otherwise you are getting all of the files as .nb2

MichaelW_, might be time for a clean sweep re-install then. If you think it's happening with specific files or sets of files, you can PM me the names of a set of two and I can try it.

Are you manually deleting stuff from the download list while downloading? I'm wondering if it's related to that somehow.

Creating NZB's doesn't have anything to do with the download stuff so, I'm not sure how that relates.
