Autopar not working after V6 upgrade

Postby Jackalope » Thu Jul 07, 2011 8:50 pm

I just upgraded to version 6 from 5.58. Autopar was working fine in 5.58.

With version 6, autopar doesn't work, even though it is enabled and with all default settings in the options tab. If I select an rar with a par2 set, all files are downloaded include the par2s. Nothing happens after that.

I figure this muse be something I missed in the upgrade. Thanks in advance with any help you can give.

If they get added and the pars aren't paused, this suggests autopar is disabled. When autopar is enabled, the pars and rars are added with everything paused except the small par. When it downloads, the RARS are unpaused and then when they're done, any needed PARS are downloaded.

Pause, Add a set to the download list, expand it with the arrow thing and see if they're paused or not. Then unpause and watch them download and see what happens. You might want to revisit the options and make sure autopar is enabled.

You might also want to delete the "Autopar2.db3" just in case it's corrupt.

It could also simply be a bad PAR set. You can PM me the groups and subject if you want me to check it out. Don't post it here.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Deleting the autopar2.db3 file seems to have done the trick.
