local search

local search sometimes gives me an "internet subscription expired" message...

Having a tough time selecting items from the local search to download.

Sounds like it's not set to "Local" then. Or not searching locally when you set it to local.

it was set to internet first, and then after switching to local, it continued giving me these errors.

What's even more strange is that I got this dialog box more than once without searching again. It showed it like 2-3 times in a row..

Ultimately, it did search locally, but it looks like some type of GUI bug in RC4.

Well, maybe it needs to clear search results when you change modes.

If you left some I-Search results in the list and switched to local, the results are still iSearch results.

that's what I did. When I got the error, I switched to local and it continued to bug me...

Well, you didn't actually switch to local then. You switched but, didn't search so, the results sitting there were still i-Search results.

If I clear the search results when you change modes, it'll be obvious that you have to search again to get local results.
