7zip file issue.

Postby GolfNut » Sun Jun 12, 2011 2:24 pm

Downloaded a large set of files that were posted in the 7zip format. I went to the folder later and then were not there. I downloaded again and this time watched the time estimated and when it completed I decided to run QuickPar. Not this was a large list and large files so QuickPar took awhile 80% complete and it suddenly says it is missing about 20 or so files. Checked the directory and all the files are now gone. The log said something about unable to open the archive. Every file that had been checked by Quick Par and come out clean. All the files were there when I started the test, but apparently Newsbin deleted them. Is this by design or something unforseen?

PM me the subject and group and I'll try it. Don't post it here.

What version are you using?

Kind of pointless to trouble-shoot this until you try it with 6.0RC2. I'll check out the file but, I wouldn't be surprised it it's not already fixed.

...Yeah, think it's already fixed.

Yeah, confirmed, already fixed.
