Hi,

- Can the bars for display search/age and the search bar be merged (to save screen space) and/or can they be made unvisible?
- When I alt-tab to something else and come back to NB I always have to use the mouse to click in the post list to be able to use keys like pgup/pgdn again.

I'll look into the second one. I have to figure out how to detect when focus has come back and set focus on the list.

Why not? A toggle option somewhere to hide/show them seems simple to me.

A similar issue you may want to have a look at: if you're switching the Tab with Ctrl+Tab only the Tab gets activated but the
focus is not in the list.

E.g. from the Search Tab switch to the Download Tab by clicking Ctrl+Tab and selecting Download List from the Popup.
Now the Download List gets activated but the focus is not in the list.
