Excessive memory usage

Running b13, just noticed memory usage is getting a bit extreme with only two groups open and a fairly small que.

Saying 'only two groups open' is a bit like asking 'can I reach the moon with two pieces of string? '. It depends on the length of string! Memory use is way down in v6 compared to v5 for the same number of posts. If you're loading groups with almost no compactable posts, say only pictures and sporge, it approaches v5 usage.
So really, what's relevant is what groups you're loading, and how much you're trying to load. I can assure you that trying to load a year of boneless will bring your system to it's knees.

Of course, it's possible you've found a bug scenario that everyone else has missed, in which case we need to narrow down why you're getting different behaviour.

Yeah, if you do something like "Ctrl-A/Ctrl-Right arrow" to expand all the posts then this is very normal.

That's one reason I'm reluctant to add an "Expand all" function.
