assign a new path

Hi all,
find a problem with the "assign a new path". I explain.
When i try to assign a new path for something i like to save on other disk for example and if Newsbin is on for a couple of hours, the program crash
very badly, because when i launch it again it comes with default windows parameters and load again the old things
but when i made windows changes, i save it

Do you mean a network share? So, when you reboot, you don't automatically mount the share, Newsbin can't find it, and crashes?

it is not a network share, the new path is on the same disk as the path Newsbin Download

It's difficult to tell how to reproduce this. The issue of the layout being reset, had you quit newsbin after setting it up? If all that happened was that you had a crash without giving newsbin a chance to save the setup, that's not surprising that you need to setup your panes again.

simple to reproduce, you let newsbin turn for a while downloading what else and after about two hours, you find a something else to download ( from binsearch for example ) and you try to change the path
and there is the crash.....

I tried this on my system (Windows 7 Pro 32-bit) and i cannot reproduce the issue.

Yeah, if I could make it happen every time, it would be an easy fix.

I think there's a very specific sequence that triggers this that might even be related to what's being downloaded at the time.

FYI i got this problem from version b11, not tried the b10 and in the b09 i don't see this problem
i am sorry as i not mentionned i use W XP
