I'm not going to manually move my windows every beta update. When stable comes out I'll do whatever I have to do.

It's no big deal. It's more about good testing behaviour than anything - the idea is to minimize deviation from the baseline as far as configuration files that are auto generated as much as possible. It's your choice, though, carry on.
