How do I get my tabs back?

I can't work out why I can't see the tabs for Connections etc?

Note, this happened with Beta 1, it's not specific to Beta 2.

If you look at the bottom, you should find a 'divider'. What's happened is it's all the way south, thus hiding the bottom area. You'll probably find similar on the left.

Thanks! That fixed it. That should never cover the tabs, though.

It's sort of a standard, if a user doesn't want a given window at all, it allows you to trivially remove it without needing to fiddle with options. Of course, at the moment not all panes are converted over yet, so you wouldn't want that, but that's the thinking. I've seen it in several applications.

The hassle is really that some upgrades from older releases result in the confusion you experienced, which is a pain, agreed. Once you're made aware of it once though, you know it for life.

Maybe if a missing setting for a new GUI element is detected, it could default to something larger?
