Internet Search - Mark Posts Old

Good morning,

I have the following problem:

1. execute a query in the Internet Search
2. mark some posts as old
3. execute the same query again

now the posts are new again.
In 5.5x these posts kept old forever.
Only downloading files marks them as old permanently.

P.S.: It was a nasty change to switch "Clear" and "Search"-Button in the Internet Search.
Don't know how many times I've clicked "Clear" instead of "Search" so far.

Hmm, not near Newsbin atm, but that might indeed not be implemented yet, don't recall testing that recently.
I'm with you on the clear/search swap. Apparently some people were bitching about it and Quade has implemented it to see how many people squawk. I just can't get used to it, I keep telling myself it just needs getting used to, but...

it depends - if I'm actually holding the mouse because I've choosen a value from the Search Dropdown List I'm using the mouse to click Search as well.
If I pasted a new search string I'm using the keyboard to execute the query

Personally I too am a big fan of the [Enter] key implementation. Hoped for it in 5.x but thrilled it was made a feature in 6.x. It's like Christmas all over again.

You know, guys, I love the enter button too, but it's utterly unrelated to the original post, which is discussing a gui change. Perfectly valid observation. For example, I can't get the enter button to work on linux/wine, so it's the button, or don't search!
and that inet search thing. Forgot to verify, I'll try to do that this morning.

[EDIT] yeah, repro'ed. Looks like the old state for inet searches hasn't been wired up yet...

You know, I forgot I added that mode to 5.59. Yeah it's not in 6 yet
