Cryptic name

I am on newshosting and download off teevee and a few other newsgroups. I am finding most if not all the file the subject names are coming up cryptic (non english words). Is there a solution to this ? Do the other newsgroups have the same problem?

Well, our search engine can clarify many of the obscured posts. You can try selecting one and hitting "Ctrl-R" to make Newsbin probe it. This works best with the current RC7 version.
