Giganews new error?

On giganews since yesterday, this message is occuring. This is a new message I've never seen before

[07/14 11:58:15] ERROR Downloader: Error Unknown Download Exception

I was using 6.81, and upgraded to the latest beta with the same results. I checked over and giganews and there was no comment on it.

I will occasionally see a:
[07/14 11:59:35] ERROR Downloader: SocketException NEWS SERVER ERROR: Giganews5 Unable to Connect to news server Giganews5

Which makes it seem like a Giganews issue?

Yes we believe Giga and Supernews are having problems. Supposedly they had an outage a couple days ago and that seems to be when this started.
