The rapid decline us-net for TV / Movies and such has turned so dismal unless! you know what to do in today's environment.
Should we be talking about the ways we are still ahead of the game? Should we fear the new approach will soon be a lost option as well?
I was just in the middle of a PM to a recent user here that was having troubles, and started to think to myself am I helping a friend or foe?
I guess the DMC folks know all the tricks anyway right?

Dex and I were talking the other day about how Usenet seems to be moving back to what it was. An obscure and amusing place to find oddball files. We're not clear where all it's going to end up.

Obscure files yes.. I recall the day's of visiting the colleges connected to Usenet and the open directories we all shared.
CD:
As a legal source such as newsbin I guess some will circumvent it's main objective "Obscure File Sharing" the nefarious side is always going to find ways to abuse software like newsbin .
For now lets hope those obscure files remain available.
And this forum will help those realize the need for such a venue.
