Sneaking this up here. A couple issues came to light. Most minor. One was a real problem where someone posted files with 5K long subjects.

1-  NZB Autoload pathing was using the default NZB Download path.

2 - Postings to a group the subjects were 5000 bytes long instead of the more typical 150.  Caused import problems.


FYI, the beta page "Changes this version" for the 6.90 Final Release says it's build 5525. However, both the beta and regular download pages install a Final Release version that is labeled as build 5524.

Just downloaded the final from the website. I noticed that dutch language is not working. in the past there was an installer for language. Can't find it anymore. Is it still available?

Just installed this beta - one thing I see is that when a NZB is loaded from outside the app (by double clicking on the nzb in the file browser or from Firefox), instead of loading the NZB as a tab in the main window, it just automatically starts the download of the contents. It used to just load the NZB as a new tab to let me pick what from it I wanted to download. There is a Autoload option under tyhe NZB settings in Options, but that has no effect on this, one way or the other.

Did the setting for "Display Age" - "Show Files Newer than N Days Old" in the Basic Settings for Newsbin Options used to be automatically reflected in the "Show Posts Special" of the "File Date Range" menu produced by hovering over and right-clicking a newsgroup or group of groups in the Groups display?

If so, it no longer is.

If not, I'll be making an appointment with a physician specializing in memory disorders.

If you load the group and "show special" from the reload drop-down it does show the "display age". If you do it from the groups list it isn't.

in the debug log, the "DEBUG CNNTPDbImportThread" message truncates the group name where the group name includes a "-" just before the "-".

e.g.
DEBUG CNNTPDbImportThread alt.binaries.e
instead of
DEBUG CNNTPDbImportThread alt.binaries.e-book
