6.90 Beta 2 sort issue

The Sort or reembrace of a sort is lost in 6.90 Beta 2.
When I refresh and update the News Groups Previous release would remember the sort order I had based upon current Date (Newest to Oldest)
Now the Sort order always reverts and does not remain. is there a option I am missing? I dont see a option?
