I'm running the server on Windows 2003 x86 and the 6.7b2 does not install.

this is really annoying, I don't want to upgrade the OS of this server and I like being on the beta cycle...

Very disappointing. I hope you reconsider.

32 and 64 bits are still there. What's missing is support for XP. Is this thing based on XP?

Windows 2003, roughly the same era as Windows XP, but the server version of it.

Well there you go.

New devel tools don't make XP compatible programs anymore. It has been 13 years. You can keep using the versions that do work until you decide to upgrade. It works great under Linux too.

I'll check out what MS has to say about this.

Extended support for server 2003 ended 14 july 2015. So Microsoft don't support this OS anymore.
