It means the news server people renumbered the group. You need to reset Newsbin for that group now.

1 - Set a download age of say 10 days.

2 - Right click the group "Post Storage/Use Download Age"

3 - Download headers normally.

It'll just download the last 10 days worth of headers for the group.
