server list - priority

options > servers -- please add priority to the left side

it would sure be nice to have the 'priority' listed on the left (just shows server/downloaded -- not sortable).. especially for those that have multiple servers (i have 10, only 7 active). makes trying to re-arrange them a pain when you have to hunt for what is what.. adjust then repeat.

also, if you have 3 servers all with the same priority.. which gets used first? or is it randomized between them? first one that responds with the article?

I'll write myself a note to look into it. You know there's another server view "View/Servers" which are ordered by priority and allows you do change things like the options menu.

Servers at the same priority are random. It's one server connection per chunk so, you never have a case where multiple servers are trying to download the same chunk of the file. If one server fails, it'll tell the rest of the servers to go at it. Eventually every active server will have had a go at downloading the chunk. If you use a "Typical Retention". That server just insta-fails its own attempt at the chunk so some other server can try it.

nice, ive never know of the view>servers. the lack of tooltips on the red - made it a little scary when i clicked on it.. figured out that it toggle the inactive/active state.. thought it deleted it at first.

win7. and so were talking about the same things. im referring to the little images next to the collapse/expand on each server row.

Yeah, I was talking about the buttons on the server view toolbar. The icons in the list itself just show status. Connected/disconnected. SSL or not SSL.
