I am getting a red ! and "Subject Reject" as the status when no filters are selected. The title of the file(s) has no reference to anything I can call filterable. Whats goin on?

It means a filter is trying to filter them out. What kinda filters do you have in the global filter profile?

Global is set to reject in both subject or file name if it contains: .bat; .exe; .scr; .reg
The filtering also occurs when no filters are selected at the top of the group window where the filter parameters are present.

Got that but nothing in the subject is in my filters. I will try to screen shot the next time.

Have you assigned a filter profile to the group or group topic?

No, not that I am aware of. There is only the global filter for those specific file extensions. Here is an example and the global filter set.

Your filters aren't doing what you think they are.
".jpg"
".scr"
Means "match any character + SCR".
So "this is my screen"
Will match ".scr"
What you really want is either "\.scr" or "[.]scr".
Because "." has special meaning in the filter language. It means "any character".
