Where is FROM in the filter configuration?

Sorry if it is a stupid question and the answer is obvious, because it really feels like a newbie question :)

I can't find how to set up a filter which shows only posts from one or several posters.
The drop box has only two entries: "Subject Contains" and "Filename Contains". But I need "From Contains" or "Poster Contains".

The problem is not new to 6.60 beta 5, I was not able to make such a filter with 6.50 as well, I think.
It is just that "Changes in this Version" mentions filters several times and I had hopes...

You can do it with the watch lists but not the filters. I can consider adding it though. Someone also wants a "Disabled" field in the filters.

Yes, I am using watch lists as a workaround. Another way: to sort by posters, to select all the posts from a poster and to export to nzb.
It would be great to have "From Contains" in the filters. Then you could also include and exclude multiple entries from "From" field in a single filter.
Perhaps also a right-click on a poster could have "lock-in" option (lock-out everybody else)? But it should have a separate unlock.

You can send them to a named custom list too. They work sort of like a manual watch list.

Any way to exclude posters via the filters? - i.e. to temporarily exclude posters rather than blacklist/unblacklist.
...trying to fine tune a set of more 'dynamic' filters for specific header views

I'm pretty close to being able to add poster filtering to the filter profiles. Not sure it's going to make 6.60. I re-wrote how filters are stored internally so, you can disable individual filter elements without deleting them. In the process I expanded it to allow me to eventually add poster filtering. It's just a matter of finding the time to add it.

Thanks Quade.
It sounds like you will be making some good options available. 8)
There is so much spam & crap these days I suspect careful filtering is the only way forward.

In my experience, at least in the groups I frequent, a good size filter seems to knock out most of the spam.
