Compact Database

I see it doing stuff in the database. So it acts like it's working. I wonder if the problem is that deletes aren't completing. Or that the compaction is failing.

I'm not seeing any reduction in size although it seems like it's trying to do something.

The size will only go down if something actually deletes. I'm wondering if only part of the delete is working.

I'm sending the command, the database software says A-ok but, the file doesn't shrink. If I do it from the command line it shrinks.

Makes me wonder if the version of the database I'm using is broken.
