Help

Postby BillyClub » Fri Jul 04, 2014 5:05 am

Ok, so I installed 6.52B5 and it seems to be working fine (it does what 6.42 had been doing). The thing is I was told that you can have the program auto download certain items when it comes across them being uploaded. One person told me that there was a item called "watch list" under the Groups tab that you can insert all the info needed and for the life of me I can't find anything like what he was talking about. I do have a "Groups List" and a "Search" tab and right clicking on either only gives me floating, dockable, auto hide and hide. The Groups in the menu bar shows nothing about watch list either. I do have something called Watch Topics which is under the group column but without any docs I'm little afraid if F****** something up. There is also a Search tab that when hit may or may not be the answer to my questions. Any help would be appreciated as i've been screwing with this for a good part of the day.
Many thanks for reading and or replying.....BC

If you right-click on the Watch Topics entry in the Groups tab you get options for creating/managing Watches.

Newsbin maintains backup copies of the NBI (configuration file). You can maintain some too. Worse comes to worse, you have to copy the backup configuration back in place. I'd say make a backup then "click, click, clickity, click" and experiment to your hearts content.
