NB 6.52B3 erases nzb files after loading

I switched from NB 6.52B2 to B3 and it seems to load nzb files from the monitored folder then erases them, instead of moving them to the "loaded' folder. The nzbs in the loaded folder from B2 remain. I did a file search and could not come up with the nzbs anywhere on the computer. I think I will try going back to B2 to see if it returns to normal.

I have also have a minor problem that is likely related to the configuration as it has carried over through several release versions. When I use pause or speed limiter, Newsbin will pause or speed limit for about 30 seconds then continue at full speed.

Other than those small issues, a great piece of software.

I believe this is intentional. People were complaining that Newsbin did not tidy up loaded NZB files and they tended to accumulate. Having said that I thought I remember Quade saying they were now being put somewhere in the Newsbin DATA folder and then tidied up after a few days, but I must admit I cannot find them on my system. I would like them to be kept somewhere for a period (ideally configurable) and then automatically purged after that. I sometimes want to retry a download which is why I would prefer there not be an immediate delete after loading a NZB file.

This almost certainly means that you have the scheduler enabled. People sometimes accidentally enable it by clicking on the scheduler status item in the Status bar.

Yeah, they get sent to the Newsbin temp folder and then deleted after a little while. The are moved to the temp folder, then loaded out of the temp folder. It prevents any permissions problems.

I preferred having the nzb files go to the loaded folder instead of erased or at least having that option. It helps me keep track of downloads and occasionally I need to reload an nzb.

Yes, that was it. Thank you.

Someone on IRC asked me to put it back the way it was. I'm seriously considering it. Just haven't had the chance to mess with it yet this week.

would also prefer to have them, like before, in the loaded folder
