Version 6.51 Final Release

We are in the process of updating the website to make 6.51 the final release. We are making it available to our beta participants first through this post. The language translations have been enabled but may still need some tweaks. If you are interested in helping out, look at http://translate.newsbin.com to see what is involved and let me know if you are up to it. We offer free Usenet Search periods for anyone contributing to the translations.

There are a few small changes prior to building the final release:

• Support for yet another RAR encryption format
• Custom lists now report if you try to use a list name that already exists.
• Now updates the New Files column in the Groups List tab when files are added to a Custom List

Thanks to everyone who ran 6.51 through the beta process and helped us shake out bugs and continue to improve Newsbin. Quade already has a start on a 6.60 version that will be entering the beta process soon as well as a native Android version of Newsbin derived from the same code base.

Quade has been busting balls to get an Android version of Newsbin ready for alpha testing. Should be ready any day now.

Just a note, not a bug...

I do not have auto rename checked, so when a loaded an NZB that included a subtitle file that is downloaded before the main file and they both have the same name, Newsbin aborts the main (2nd) file download because it thinks the file is already on the disk. When I deleted the Subtitle RAR and reinitialized the DL, by-passing filters, it DLed the main file OK.
