can't close connections

Up until a few versions ago, I was able to select a particular connections (or most likely all connections) and close them.
This is useful when switching to or from SSL servers. In the meantime, you get twice as many connections (and thus, rejections because of per-user connection maximum).
Is it possible add a "Clear connections" button on that tab?

If you disable the server, the connections will go away as long as they're not doing something like header downloads. I use that technique to change options fairly often.
Keep in mind that News servers can be slow to release connection so, the connections might go away in Newsbin and you still have to wait a little while for them to clear on the server end.

that's what I use.
That old option used to kick them out very fast. Now, I have to wait until they're done with what they're doing and in the mean time I have double the connections...

How long is it taking? Mine seem to drop pretty quick. I do think I see a problem. Not right click menu in the connections tab. I'll check it out.

I was working on this this morning. I'll have it fixed in the final 6.40 release. Turns out I have to fix that search bug too.
