Random failed files

I was curious to why some nzb file rar sets get dumped into the failed file list as dups if Newsbin is shut down before the set is done, while others just start back right where the left off. I suspect it has to do with the par set, or how the rar set and nzb file was made.
Which brings me to another question: Can I just mark several rars to download in Newsbin from a nzb file set? I know how to expand to see all the files in the set, however when I try to just highlight and download several I need (because of the above problem) the set gets dumped back to failed - duped. Using bypass filters the rar set just begins to re-download ALL files again (with the 001,002, etc).

Using B7.

I might have to look into deferring the entry into the dup database till after all the files finish downloading. Wrote myself a note to look into it.

I'm not clear what you mean about the Ctrl-Y thing. Adding files with "bypass filters" should be no different then adding the, the normal way. So, expanding the set and hitting the Ctrl-Y should just add expanded. If you're adding from the failed list, the whole download gets added back to the download list but, it won't re-download, it'll just check the files already on disk.

Ok thanks, I'll give it a try again. Up until now I just have been going to a nzb site and building a new nzb file with just the files I need from the set to make it complete.
