I have topics set eg under groups list I have Music with a.b.mp3, a.b.sounds.mp3 etc.

When I load the topic under B3 $(Group) option worked properly eg download path set to C:\NBPro\$(GROUP)\ would download to C:\NBPro\Music.

However under B4 & B5 the folder now outputs to a.b. format eg C:\NBPro\a.b.mp3 even though I've loaded the topic, not the specific group.

Am I missing something?

There's a special entry for the entire category called "GOG" I wonder if that's what you want?

C:\NBPro\$(GOG)\

That always picks the parent name. The parent of the current group.
