Files entering the download list

Since getting the RC3, I've noticed files appearing in my download list that I haven't added. I remove them only for them to appear shortly after. At the moment, the files in the list have [XFLOODX] tags in the subject line but initially there were some files that looked like potentially infected files. I can pause these files and no more will be added but once I remove them, they appear again. The timing of it's insertion into the list appears random. Nothing like updating headers makes them always appear.
I've scanned my main hard disk and nothing seems to be infected.

No clue. None whatsoever. Do you have any groups set to "Automode"? Do you see a number in parens down in the cache entry "(NN)"?

None of the groups have been set to automatically download files. I did load up a group and ask it to download files from specific users, two or three times, but this was a group that isn't related to any of the files that are added.
Only thing my cache (on the status bar?) says is 170/200.

Do you have the autoload NZB folder set? Maybe it's picking up NZB's from somewhere. There's only so many places these files can come from. You might want to delete the downloads.db3 file to completely wipe the download list.

I don't use the newsbin autoload feature.

I will try the deleting of the db3 file, but I have a big list of valid files atm.

It is still worth checking the NZB Autoload settings. If by any chance you have it pointing at your main download folder then any NZB that you download via headers would end up being autoloaded.

No, it's not set either. Totally blank.
I did the install of the RC4 and thought that might have fixed it since the files didn't appear as quickly but they still did. I'll post again in a few days once the valid files are done and i've deleted the relevant download file to see whether it's fixed for good.

I'm not sure what the effect of it being blank actually is? It might be worth explicitly setting it to a folder that you know can never contain NZB files.

I've explicitly directed the autoload to an empty folder and again had no effect. Managed to fix the issue by deleting the db3 file albeit losing wishlist in the process. Still can't figure out why this happened in the first place though.
