With 6.0.1 Beta 3 I see this picture again and again:


many many of those:
ERROR - FileIOThread - internal crash

and then quite a few of those:

ERROR - CNNTPServerWorker - internal crash

and also those:

ERROR - WorkerThread Died

And then download speed is 0.
Nothing helps, restart of NewsBin is needed.
It is not a very good thing because NewsBin no longer downloads anything when unattended.

It happens when downloading large files - rar parts 150 MB apiece etc, like BluRay stuff.
I did not notice it on small files.

The last time:
It happened after downloading 19 files 150 MB each, 6 more started but not finished.

I see now that I have two servers, the main one set to 15 connections, the fill-in server - to 10 connections.

Question: is there something that can be done or added to .ini file to fix this problem?
I already have MemCacheLimit=100


BTW, I was not able to copy the error messages to the clipboard - out of memory - so many of them.


ANOTHER THING:

After restarting, the 6 files that were already being downloaded - they all assembled incorrectly, not finished downloading properly.
This is also very bad. Now I have to redownload them again or try to reconstruct - which would take much more time on such a big project.

More precisely - out of the 6, the first 5 indicated by capital letters as incomplete, but actually may be ok, not sure.
But the last one, the 6th - is really incomplete but is NOT indicated as incomplete.
So it is an insult to the injury

I PM'd you an advance copy of Beta 4. Give it a try and let us know if it resolves your issue.

Don't bother. I gave Dex the wrong version so, this one's broken, unless you use the 64 bit build. Dex will get you another on in the morning.

After a file is downloaded, it is not assembled, and does not show up at all as .nb2
But no point in continuing with beta 3, I am switching to 4

With beta 4 - so far so good, no errors yet - downloading rar parts 191 MB apiece

No problems whatsoever so far with beta 4 - downloaded the whole thing (119 files 191 MB each), the error window did not even appear.
With beta 3 problems started after several files.

The problem was identified as happening when individual files were large and you were also running on a 32-bit Windows system. I got an early build of the fix for testing purposes and have now run for several days without any issues so hopefully this issue is now 'put to bed' and it will not re-occur.
