Hi

I dons seem to be able to download a file again by using bypass filter.

it starts and download the first part of the file and then it just disappear, its not even shows up under failed downloads.

Is the file still on disk? If so then you would need to remove it first as otherwise Calibre will assume you are resuming a download and finding a copy on disk thinks there is nothing to do.

I agree maybe it would be better if it over-wrote it, but then things get very complicated if you do a NB exit/restart with items in the list set to Bypass filters state. Whether Quade has any plans to modify behavior in this area I have no idea.

yes it was still on my disk and when i removed it it work fine.

I just did as i use to do before thats why i didn't remover it before.

It was not required to do so with v5 as the way that .nb! files worked on v5 was different to the current mechanism used in v6. That was why I made the comment about whether Quade might revisit this issue for v6.
