but the files haven't been downloaded on disk. I have searched all over my computer, but the rar files that NB says it's downloaded are not on disk. In fact, they aren't even clearing off the download list after it says that it's been completed. I went into the nbi file and increased the cache size to 200, but that didn't work.

Any ideas guys?

I'd say revert to B4. It's not happening to me but, it is happening to several people. It's not clear why yet.

As an experiment, try just the opposite - set memcachelimit to 0,disabling it completely. I'm unclear why this hasn't been suggested, since this bypasses all the new caching code, but at the very least, I would think this would avoid the issue.

this is weird, but now, after not changing a thing, it suddenly is working. funky.

I haven't a clue if this is related, but when I noticed having this problem, I had just tried switching from nb2 files to using chunks folders. Chunks folders didn't work, so I switched back to using nb2 files, and as soon as I did that the disappearing downloads issue got significantly worse.
